Robert Tressell's Ragged Hastings
A day trip to a seaside resort which featured in Tressell's Ragged Trousered Philanthropist. Visit the town, enjoy a good lunch, take part in a talk on Tressell illustrated with dramatised readings from his novel and then look around Historic Hastings. "Read more" to book.
London Irish Playwrights are a group of writers based at the London Irish Centre and who meet every Wednesday at 7pm at the centre. The group produces brand new scripts which is rehearse read every week, supported with fuller rehearsed readings on a regular basis which often results in limited productions at the centre.
